Nepotism
Where do you go when you're all alone? In your mind or that empty room or walking in a crowd of people? What do you see when you close your eyes, or stare blankly, gaping into the sun?
A cup of water on a plate in front of you, you fold your arms and rest them on the table, placing your chin on them and sighing. The water doesn't move but you can remember it dripping. Small wet tink as you push the cup over slowly with a finger.
Drip drip drip drip, where does the water go when it's so lonely? So hard to love alone.
So easily forgotten when you stand out from the crowd.
